Palácio Nacional da Pena and the Village of Sintra

The Cabo da Roca is 18 km west of Sintra. This cape forms the westernmost point of continental Portugal and continental Europe. The famous Portuguese poet Luís de Camões wrote in the 16th century that this cape is: “Where the land ends and the sea begins”.

Boca do Inferno
